Paramveer Kaur discovered her interest in stitching back in 8th grade. What started at home , stitching suits for herself and her sister slowly turned into something more as she refined her skills and later learned proper techniques from a professional tailor.

During her college years, she began exploring embroidery. Initially just a hobby, it didn’t take long for her to realise that this passion could grow into something meaningful.

As she shares, “I began by doing embroidery on my own suits and my sister’s suits. Slowly, with practice, my hands became more refined and my work improved. I started receiving small work opportunities, which brought me both happiness and income. That’s when I felt confident that I should take this work forward seriously.”

With time, Paramveer started working on embroidery for more customers and her work gradually gained recognition. She added, "With the support of Loveleen Didi from Sangrur, she also got the opportunity to contribute to larger projects, an experience that helped her grow even further"

Today, she feels grateful that a skill which began on such a small scale has grown into something meaningful and continues to evolve with every piece she creates.

I got to know Paramveer through Simran, her cousin and when I saw her work on our Lays and Kurkure bag, I was equally amazed. The precision, the neatness… it was exactly what I had in mind. Both sisters are incredibly talented at what they do, and I’m so glad I came across them.
